New! AWANA Awards Ceremony - Mon. May 12th 6:30 - 8:00 PM at PIBC - You are invited to join us for this night of Celebration. The clubbers have been working all year long and will be receiving their year-end awards for their hard work. We will have a short Game Time (for everyone), Awards Presentation, Slideshow, Ice Cream Sundaes, and Registration for next year.

Thinking of participating next year? Please consider joining us for the Awards Night for a preview of what's to come. Children will join in with the age group they will be in when club begins again in August. They will also be included during the Awards portion by receiving a small Welcome gift.

What is AWANA anyway? Awana in an international organization "whose goal is to reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him". There are 6 clubs for children ages 2 through 12th grade (birthday cutoff is 9/1/08). Our AWANA Club will be meetsing Wednesday nights from 6 - 8 pm*. During the night there are three main components: Game Time, Council (or Lesson) Time, and Handbook Time (scripture memorization). *Highschoolers will be ‘Leaders in Training’ on Wednesdays and have their own club on Friday night.”

Ohana Breakfast - Sunday, May 18th, 9:00 AM, on church lanai - Those with names beginning with A - M bring an egg dish and side dish and N- Z bring an egg dish and fruit. Drinks, ham and rice provided the church - pastries and breads provided by Safeway. We will be officially welcoming new family members!
